PWCC is brokering nearly a half-billion in trading card sales annually (and you thought those baseball cards in your mom's basement were worthless!), with the goal of becoming the go-to resource for trading card research, investment, and protection. Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Operations, the Facilities Manager plays an impactful role in the company’s sustainability & growth. The Facilities Manager creates and maintains compelling space to promote functionality, efficiency, comfort, security, safety and engagement of employees and clients. This includes everything from project management of tenant improvements to the maintenance, care, overall safety and operation of all equipment and facilities used by PWCC.

 

The right candidate will bring experience managing multiple facilities in tandem and will be equally comfortable tackling hands-on work, managing contractors and communicating with the organization. The Facilities Manager will be PWCC’s expert in their areas of responsibility. This role will be based in our Tigard, OR office.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees building and grounds maintenance
  • Operates and maintains custodial functions
  • Maintains knowledge of best practices and industry changes as they relate to facilities, security, and safety
  • Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures
  • Promotes spaces that encourage functionality, comfort, safety, and enjoyment for PWCC employees and visitors
  • Identify space needs as the company grows and expands
  • Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections
  • Manages and reviews service contracts
  • Checks completed work by vendors and contractors
  • Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees
  • Manages and upkeeps equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Inspects buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Ensure the facility is safe and well-functioning
  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget
  • Manage construction and building TI projects with vendors:
    • Collaborates with contractors, staff, and design professionals to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and construction or design issues
    • Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
    • Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
    • Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
    • Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
    • Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities
  • Manage PWCC security function to include coordinating with internal staff and/or external vendors as needed to accomplish security needs
  • Implement security improvements as needed to mitigate industry changes and risks
  • Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
  • Implements and maintains a Facilities Management System
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience maintaining a business facility; ideally over 50,000 ft2 of commercial property
  • Prior experience managing project budgets of over $1MM
  • A minimum of 6+ years of related experience required; facilities role expert
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and navigate in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to act with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records
  • Must be able to lift up-to 75 pounds at times
  • Must be able to move about on foot for the duration of the shift
  • Must be able to traverse the facilities, including the roof
  • Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings
  • Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions

 

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up-to 75 pounds at times
  • Must be able to move about on foot for the duration of the shift
  • Must be able to traverse the facilities, including the roof
  • Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment
